It's been a while.....

Some things change, some things stay the same.

The girls will be finished with school this week! I think Mom is more excited than they are. I am really needing the break. Lexi has done excellent with her grades again. We are waiting on the results from her Standardized testing. We still have not received them yet. Beka at first was not a fan of reading but has decided the last couple months of school to get into it and it progressing really well. She is very good at Math. I am amazed at the concepts she has already developed at age 5!

I am enjoying my job at the church. I've met some wonderful people and have learned a ton. I think if I ever join the workforce again, this would be my dream job! Of course, the staff I work with goes a long, long way!

Lots of changes in our lives right now. Some are worth sharing and others, not just yet. Matt has started to work with Fort. and he's seeing good things so far. That being said, he leaves Friday for a month-long trip to help his mom with her business in Fort. as well.

I have taken some time off from the movie theater although I will work the month of July; I think. I am thinking of leaving the last week of July for our the girls and my trip. This time it's a bit different. Our first stop is Colorado; Parachute to be exact, to spend my time with my sister and her family.

From there, we will head to Missouri - Kansas City area - to spend some time with Momma, Memom and PapaDad. I'll leave the girls there and make my way down south. I'm thinking of hitting Louisiana and then driving along the coast through Mississippi and then into Alabama. I'm looking for a beach, a good book, and some hot summer days. I've never taken time to myself like that and am looking forward to being selfish for a short while! (and maybe end my summer with a killer tan!)

Lexi has decided to go to public school next year. I personally am happy with that decision as I want her to try it before hitting JR High. I think she'll enjoy it and do well. Beka will start 1st grade (where did my baby go?) in the fall. Although I think she would benefit from public school, she wants to have another year with mommy. So between working, possibly moving (I can't do another Montana winter), and other changes - it should prove interesting.
